  2. Its been six years since my first and only Felony, they say having one does not exclude you from being hired, thats a lie, as soon as it’s know your resume is dumped. A sad fact also they throw $9.00 hr.and no benefits;this they can keep and put were the sun don’t shine…because your a nobody to these people. The state of Massachusttes has many ways of keeping American residents down, specially of color, my experience has seen a majority of jobs taken by people that can barely speak English that can be understood. So much for Government concern for Americans struggling since Vietnam. So why waste your time trying to find work let it find you because, unless your a celebrity or from a family in Politics getting two and three chances doesn’t WORK….

It is a condition of my probation to maintain full employment and I have come to realize not only is it difficult to find employment with the economy being the way it is but it is like twice as hard when you have a felony hanging over your head I feel like a leppar… please help me find a job.

  6. Most applications, the question “have you been convicted of a felony” is followed by the statement “by answering yes does not necessary bar you from employment”, but as we know, it does bar felons from employment. Actions speak louder than words!
I will ask you Mr., Ms., and Mrs. Felon to help yourself and your fellow felons. If you know or think you know that a business, company, or the store policy is not to hire felons for no other reason but because they are a felon, then don’t give them any business, go elsewhere to do the shopping, and let them know it.
Tell your Family, Friends, and cyber-buddies to do the same. Let us use their method; Hit them where it hurts, the pock book.
