    2. i need help finding a job . i live in Dallas , TX i have several felonies i have gone TWF any several temp agencies it seems hopeless for me ,, i have to start paying child support for my two children in July i would love to find a job before i have to go to jail for not paying it ,, please if you know of any one who can help please let me know .     4. i need help to find a good job to help provide for my wife and her 3 children who i love more than anything . i have a felony that i got when i was 18 I will be 28 this month I have a hard time finding a job when they hear felony that affects my chances My wife works for american red cross and shes on the road everyday I hope someone out there will please give me a chance im a very hard and deddicated worker

    5. hey im a 21 year old positive hard working young man, i unfortuantly got caught with the wrong crowd in my younger teenage years and now have 2 felonies and 7 years of probation over my head. I am not however a bad person, I feel as I qualify for a good job besides chump minimum wage money. At this point i just need any job so i dont loose my mind, then from there i will work my way up and establish myself as a regular citizen again. Thank You

Hey fellow feloners you know I’m down here in Houston and I have a couple of felonies and i have been surviving on Labor Ready’s and street smarts to make it day to day for my family but people in the corporate world don’t see it that way cause we put ourselves in this position. but we paid our debt Right? so why is it so hard for us to be forgiven for our mistakes in life by society it’s not like we are standing on the corner asking for money we are simply asking to work so we can provide for our families well if there is Any JOBS OUT THERE WHERE EVER I WANT TO WORK . To the people that are in POSITIONS TO HIRE THINK ABOUT THIS WHAT IF IT WAS YOU AND YOU HAD A FAMILY TO FEED WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

    10. i commend all of you! my husband is currently in prison. i have his back all the way i look for jobs for him i search the web all day to see what new things have come up. no its not easy. heck its not easy if you’re not a felon. keep your faith. i do know one thing in houston, the city will hire any felon if you meet all the requirements. now if you have a drug convictions you wont get hired. ha! that part was disturbing. hey i hope it helps. i do know off shore jobs. i know beiong away from your family is the last thing you want but shit you’re free. labor ready was our best friend fjor 2 years and honey dont knock it till yu get off your butt and do it. if anything all that street smarts you guys have turn it around flip and get your own business. its hard but try anything. i wish you all the best of luck. keep the faith.

    11. I am a convicted felon looking for work.I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama. I am a certified crane operator that only has the schooling and certification under my belt.I went to CCO school in 2007 and earned my certification.I came back and applied to every crane company I knew of none of them would hire me then because I didnt have the seat time all I had was the certification.Eventually I just gave up in 2008 I found a good paying job working for an exterminating company then i got the felony charge and they let me go.Im on 4 years of probation with a 10 year prison sentence hanging over my head.Im just looking for a decent paying job doing anything but it seems hopeless.If anybody knows where to or how to do that please email me at dah9183@aol.com. thanks.

    12. I have a 15 year old felony for burglary. I wish I could take it back but I can’t and I did deserve to go to prison for it which I did . I went to boot camp for 4 months and completed it and then got sent to prison for 5 years and 15 years later I am still paying dearly for it, when does my sentence end? If there is any empoyers reading this just know people change and need a job so we can get on with our lives and try to forget the negativety of our past and move foward to a bright future. I have been told by a bunch of people that the only difference between people who went to jail and those who did not is that they did not get get caught. I know people don’t care one little bit but it sure is narrow minded of people to think of us in the manner that they do, we are people too. I have grown up to be a very respectful man and a very hard worker also everything I have I earned with blisters and back aches ,not by theft. I despise that little punk I once was and consider my prison sentence a hidden blessing because if not for that eye opener where would I be now….in a grave? I never asked for a handout just an opportunity to earn my own way and know one thing .. most people may not have any respect for me but I have a whole lot for myself because I know how hard I had to work to get where I’m at and where I came from and that is something nobody can take from me. employers I ask you all to stop being so close minded and try to see the positive changes we have made and are trying to make in our lives.I need a job really bad too but it sure seems hopeless all the time. To all the other fellons I believe it’s time we do something about discrimination against us and file a petition of some sort to change the law and our fate.
